House, yard and life.
The house has been shown twice.
Twice to real estate agents previewing for out of state clients.
Phht!
The first time, the agent was 15 minutes early and it was a bit of a fiasco getting Bear and Auggie situated.
Today, I got us all in the motorhome 45 minutes beforehand.
Auggie is not 100% comfortable in the motorhome and he panicked a bit when the car came in. He has not yet found a “safe” spot in the motorhome.
But after the car parked and the person disappeared, he did fine exploring about…until the person reappeared.
We have work to do.
Bear was on the dash and mostly quiet so I think ultimately that will help Auggie, but we need to practice.
After, we all tumbled out and enjoyed a late afternoon that was cool and a little blustery.
We relaxed…
…mostly.
Week End
It’s Friday!
This is Bear after we returned from a vet appointment for a blood re-check after 3 weeks on medication.
The anxiety from the vet’s office catches up with Bear when we get home. It was a 10 minute visit and they whisked him in via a side door – straight to the back for a quick blood draw…which he does well with, but still…OMG!
So on arrival home, after a little walk around, he came in and it was lights out.
Great news, though – all normal results from the blood draw and we proceed with no meds and see how he does.
Hoo-rah!!
Meanwhile, I feel about the same way as Bear looks – it WAS a week. It is always a bit of up-down-2nd guessing kind of roller coaster for me when I list a house for sale.
This was no different.
And as things are so green, baby fawns are frolicking with their mamas, lilacs, wild flowers and lupins are blooming in the woods – YIKES!
But, I’m staying the course, one day at a time and all will happen as it should – it always does.
It was a fair work week. I have been dealing with some spring allergy/hay fever kind of stuff and missed 1/2 day of working time on Tuesday not feeling 100%, after missing 1/2 day of working time on Monday with the listing for sale stuff. So, a partly working weekend is in order.
The weather has been GORGEOUS!!! Temps briefly hitting 70 before cooling, overnight into the low 40’s, fresh breeze – beautiful. When the work day is done, I head outside and sit in one of the chairs on Beardog Point, with a glass of wine, while Bear and Auggie mess about. We come in about 7:00 p.m., I have a light supper and after a quick out with Bear it is to bed for all of us. It is still light, but apparently all of our internal clocks are set to 9:00 p.m. for bedtime.
Hoo-rah!
Happy Weekend: it’s Friday!
***Bonus…a new Simon’s Cat video. I LOVE these as they always make me laugh out loud…from the belly – good stuff!
