Got ice?
We’ve got ice.
LOTS of ice.
The good news is that the snow has melted/condensed enough and then frozen so that mostly all of us can walk on top of it.
Auggie definitely stays on top.
Bear and I mostly stay on top but occasionally we both break through. But most places that is only 6 inches to break through. Still a bit of a jolt, but manageable. It is better than ice!
I guess ice is ok for having a treat…
You’d think some of those private, nether-region parts might object, but I guess not.
Neither do Auggie’s…
We are to have some flurries and maybe and inch or 2 or 3 and then we are to get a very WARM feed of moisture, i.e. rain, next weekend.
I think we will have ice for awhile.
The boys in action
A short…VERY short 2 snippets of the boys in action:
Taken yesterday about an hour after it started snowing heavily. By this morning a new 3 inches of snow so it doesn’t look quite so bad … some of the sticks and sap are covered with fresh new snow.
This morning (Sunday), I cleared and did some cleanup. My neighbor and the backhoe helped around the mailbox and the end of the driveway. As of this evening things are in good shape snow-wise.

Our White Christmas was a kind of wimpy White Christmas.
Post Christmas, we did have a nice snow event.
